Our Mission
Our mission is to help underserved kids and schools receive necessary educational supplies to maximize student’s learning potential and give every child an equal opportunity to succeed.
About Tools to Teach
My name is Thomas Boothby, and I am a sophomore at the University of Virginia, studying Business Administration and Computer Science. I’m originally from Fort Worth, Texas.
I founded Tools to Teach (T2T), a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children excel in the classroom, even if they lack the necessary resources. I strongly believe that every child deserves an equal opportunity to enjoy learning as much as I do. I feel a responsibility to help make this a reality for those who are less fortunate.
Since starting Tools to Teach, I have made significant strides in achieving this goal. By distributing backpacks full of supplies to children, we have helped them stay in school and increased literacy rates in my community.
Thank you,
Thomas Boothby
